Dappled and shifting patterns on paths, roads, beaches evoke the broader sky, nature, wind, and light overhead. Looking down becomes uplifting.
Eye to Eye
At a human scale, eye-to-eye, you might see familiar personalities, emotions, characters… chicken? ...person? ...both?
Real and imagined skies.
The health of the eye seems to demand a horizon. We are never tired, so long as we can see far enough, wrote Ralph Waldo Emerson.
The subject is vast but the pieces are small, to fit in close places where horizons are hard to come by.
